Tymon Dogg performs a benefit gig.

This very special event commemorates the fifth anniversary of the Fire Brigades Union benefit where Joe Strummer played his last London show. The return to Acton will be a very exciting and emotional night that no Clash or Strummer fan will want to miss. The concert is to take place at Acton Town Hall, Uxbridge Road, Acton, West London on Thursday the 15th of November 2007. The line-up will feature Tymon Dogg, the very dignified Clash tribute band - Take the 5th, and Billy Bragg. There will also be DJ sets, special guests and screenings of fire fighter/filmmaker Alan Miles' short documentaries: The Last Night London Burned and Jail Guitar Doors. Militant Entertainment – a new record label linked to the Leftfield stage at the Glastonbury festival and Jail Guitar Doors – an independent initiative set up by Billy Bragg with the aim of providing musical equipment for inmates serving time in Her Majesty's prisons will present the concert. Proceeds will go towards helping these Strummer-inspired initiatives. The event will also benefit the Strummerville Foundation for New Music. Doors: 6.30pm - 12.45AM. - www.myspace.com/armsaloftinactontown - All tickets now SOLD OUT.
