Conscious Records arose from the ashes after music had been burned out from the souls of many. Ravers, music lovers, connoisseurs and even train spotters had become disheartened by the current of commercially orientated s**t! So after moaning for too long it became apparent something had to be done. The time had come for things to change.

Talented people and fresh ideas have been suffocated and ripped off by people who don’t have a clue! With our label in the U.K. and labels in the East and West coast of America (Conscious America), and also Tokyo (Conscious Japan), we feel the time has finally come for people to have an alternative and to move forward.

We are an independent company with no intention of selling out; if we did we would have done so a long time ago when we were poor and hungry – not now we’re KICKING and hungry.

We would not have got anywhere if not for the help and support from people who were in a position no better than ourselves. To them we are deeply indebted and they shall never be forgotten.

Consciousness can be shared by everyone.
