It is very plain for everyone to see that knife and gun crime is out of control in the UK. Band members and guests have been directly affected by knife and gun crime; Dennis Alcapone's stepson was shot dead in Limehouse, London this summer and Lynval Golding (The Specials/Pama Intl) has been a victim of a very well documented knife attack. Everyone involved with the making of Highrise, is truly passionate about spreading a positive message, as well as providing funding and opportunites to the younger generations. Please support this project by buying the release, coming to the launch party, checking out the chariites and forwarding this onto anyone who might be interested. |
