Raastof is a three piece strong collective dedicated to bringing high quality music to your ears.

The band has been around since 2001 in different constellations, playing a lot of gigs and experimenting with different styles and expressions. Recently, we were reduced to a trio, which also pushed us in a different direction: away from the rehearsal room and the more traditional rock line-up, towards home-grown laptop soundscapes, electronic beats and samples. But of course, we preserved that atmospheric, ethno-inspired melodic approach and the experimental nerve that have always been the basis of raastof's sound.

In 2005 we recorded an EP for the London based indie label, MAP music. The EP, entitled Raw Material, got us some airplay on the Danish national radio P3 as well as a live performance at the same station's annual showcase Radiohuset Rocker amongst other things.

Now we are working on our first full-length album. The track Kemi is a taste of what's to come and also the first raastof song in Danish. One of the songs, so far, is in Serbo-Croatian/Bosnian/(whatever you prefer :-) but mostly we sing in English.
